For Amazon Alexa’s Hackathon for Good, we wanted to expose a problem that often hides in plain sight: local pollution people see every day but rarely document. Dirty Up Your Instagram flipped the platform’s polished visual culture by inviting users to post geotagged images of trash, pollution, and environmental damage — turning the feed into a crowdsourced tool for visibility, awareness, and action.

Outcome
